Knockbridge Vintage Club have held their sixth annual vintage show today (7th October.) There were concerns because of the rescheduled date that numbers would be well down.

This, thankfully was not the case.

"Folks came from far and wide"

The weather has a lot to do with events like these and somebody in the skies above must have been looking down on us - not a drop of rain all day. As a result, the crowds came in their droves, from locals to folks from far and wide.

They were not let down. Awaiting our visitors was a vast array of Classic cars, tractors and machinery. There was a number of beutiful steam engines

puffing away as a fabulous show was put on display from the threshing mills.

The various different events went down well, with all going ahead without any major hitches. The Talent show which ran for the first time this year went very well, drawing a good crowd as did the Tug O' War, flower arranging and art competition, just to name but a few.
